Trail information

Embark on the Adventurers' Trail along Poole Quay. Uncover tales of smugglers and pirates, explore Poole's wartime significance, including heroic D-Day efforts, and learn about seacraft that used the Quay, from lifeboats to coal ships. Discover the town's rich maritime heritage, from sea trade and fishing to its stunning natural harbour and diverse wildlife.

The Quayside and walk up to coastal Baiter Park provide a scenic backdrop for this trail. Be warned, the temptation to stop for some fish and chips will be hard to resist!

Thank you to Poole Museum, Dani Dixon, and Ellie Fryer for their work on the content and artwork for this trail.
